These files can be problematic for both uploading and storage given their size. The IT department have recommended that the “we transfer” programme is used to support this process. See below for a step by step guide for uploading videos.

  1. Go to https://wetransfer.com/ – try and use Chrome or Firefox as a browser.
  2. Log in with the user name and password below
      1. user info – wcaintranettraining@gmail.com
      2. password – WcATr@!n!nG
  3. Select your video here, go into your file directory and find where you have it saved on your computer/phone.
  4. Email it to your Western Care email Address. Press Transfer. There is a bit of a time lag, the video is uploaded and then a link is sent to the recipient. The recipient can then safely save it to the F drive where it can be further processed as required.
  5. Once the video is transferred over, save it in the F drive folder/WCA Website 2019 folder, either in the Internet or Public folder as appropriate.
  6. Next log into the Western Care Youtube account using the same user name and password as for We Transfer (user info – wcaintranettraining@gmail.com/password – WcATr@!n!nG)
  7. Follow the steps to upload the new video to this location from the F Drive
  8. Mark it unlisted
  9. Copy the link and paste this link into the relevant post whether on the Intranet/External Site.
